Remember these shows?

Yeah, I was bored today...and made this list. Enjoy, and add to it if you like...I'm sure there are plenty I've forgotten about...especially shows more for girls. I stuck with the non-cartoons that 80s kids were known to watch...on their own or forced to watch with parents since most of us only had one TV in the house. (in Random Order):

Double Trouble
Small Wonder
Just the Ten of Us
The Hogan Family
I Married Dora
Perfect Strangers
Alf
Mr. Belvedere
Out of This World
Diff’rent Strokes
Facts of Life
Family Ties
Growing Pains
Head of the Class
My Two Dads
Who’s the Boss?
The Wonder Years
21 Jump Street
The Dukes of Hazzard
The Cosby Show
Family Matters
Punky Brewster
The A Team
Doogie Howser, M.D.
Charles in Charge
Knight Rider
My Secret Identity
Gimme a Break
227
Silver Spoons
Kate & Allie
My Sister Sam
Learning the Ropes
Newhart
Scarecrow and Mrs. King
Riptide
Magnum P.I.

Fun list, but some aren't ones I've heard of...maybe you're younger than me.

Shane found a site that has a lot shows (and new ones, too): www.hulu.com
It has commercials, so we're pretty sure it's not pirated stuff.

Oops, I meant maybe I'm younger...feel free to not clarify if I'm wrong-which I probably am :)

Born in '75 here... so many of the early one's are mosty reruns...

Speaking of Rerun, I almost forgot about
What's Happening Now (The original What's Happening doesn't technically count as it ended in 1979)

** Apologies, Small Wonder was a repeat

and I had Out of This World...

Let me just say that, yes, I may be the oldest of everyone reading this, but my "born in '74" is only about 3 weeks ahead of your "born in '75" Donald...maybe I have younger readers because I'm relative to a younger generation.

Knowing so many shows is a result of being stuck at home during the summer at the age of 10-14 and not having cable with a limit of about a dozen channels, so reruns of shows aired all day long. Actually, that did catch some good 70s reruns like
The Fall Guy
CHiPs

Maybe I should blog on all the ways I know I'm old like how I'm constantly asked if I highlight my hair...

Well, actually, The Fall Guy is an 80s show running from '81-'86...and ya, I remember being 9-10ish, and my uncle (7 yrs older than me) having posters of Heather Thomas on his wall...'nuff said there...

I'm shocked you flippantly throw around terms such as "only about 3 weeks". Yes, to the casual reader you may have convinced them that your 74 and my 75 are not altogether different given their close proximity. But A LOT happens during those three weeks that one must consider. Granted, most are unimportant, but nay not all. For it is during this three week span that we celebrate the birth of baby Jesus. Why would you put such little importance on this occurance? The One true God comes to earth in human form and you completely disregard it! I'm baffled as to why you would shun baby Jesus.
HEY EVERYONE... SCOTT DOESN'T LOVE BABY JESUS!!

Not very wise my friend... Not wise at all! Get whatever version of the Bible you need to and read up on some Matthew 1&2, do some soul searching, and get a little Christmas in July spirit going on. I'll pray for you.

Maybe this will help you figure out who Jesus Is

Oh yeah, my wife says we both missed Saved By The Bell. It began in 89 so it technically counts.

** You did have Out of this World.

Maybe Saved by the Bell counts...the first year was the bust where they scratched the whole student body and started over, so the ones we know weren't there until '90 then I guess.

And I suppose considering God made the world in 6 days, a lot can happen in 3 weeks. But, it was 1974, so I'm pretty sure all that happened was your mom realized her pregnant belly was the perfect spot to roll her joints on while she was still pregnant...lol. So, a lot happened to YOU that 3 weeks...lol.

Sweet! I'm younger! And by more than 3 weeks, whoo hoo!

You guys are cracking me up :)
